Welcome to the German Wiktionary!

It would be really nice, if you could add the page number of your reference for adj.. Many thanks --Yoursmile (Diskussion) 12:58, 2. Dez. 2011 (MEZ)

No problem it's done, re-check to see if it's standard reference presentation on deutsch wiktionary. It's from an abreviation table presentation, so there are no page writted, but i count and it was the xxv (latin small caps cause it's part of introduction of the dictionnary, and not from dictionnary itself). Thank you very much. :) Best regards --Yoursmile (Diskussion) 08:06, 4. Dez. 2011 (MEZ)

Your TemplateBearbeiten

Dear Vive la Rosière,

I have noticed that you made a template for french verbs on your user page. I'd like to point out that this one is not up to date. If you wish so, I would like to help you to polish it a little bit. With best regards --Baisemain (Diskussion) 17:13, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)

Thanks ! It would be very nice ! Cause I tried to found the useful templates in order to make some little easy corrections, improvements and fix on the de.wikt french articles (flexions / pronounciation / conjugue / etc. ). So yes I'll accept it ! Don't hesitate to update and add things which can support me. But I'm warn you I don't speak german so I use a translator to translate documentation if I make mistakes or misuses don't hesitate to revert and explain me why in order to improve myself. V!v£ l@ Rosière /Murmeln…/ 17:27, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)
Ah yes also looking for the template "ébauche", you know this banner which indicate that this article should be completed / re-checked or precised ? Like that I'll use it if in any case i'll try to create a simple article. V!v£ l@ Rosière /Murmeln…/ 17:30, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)

Fine! I will help wherever I can. Your help will be appreciated. We need every hand with our french entries we can get.
I have another advice: Up until now it is not custom zu link the inflected verbs in the verb template. There were discussions about that but without any useful results. I don't say that it is not allowed. It is just not very common. I think that should be dealt with via the verb template. It can be very annoying to put in these brackets by hand. --Baisemain (Diskussion) 17:36, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)
Allright, on fr.wikt we put them even if it is'nt really useful to the readers, it's a easy way to see if the flexions articles exist for the contributors. But yes if the template can manage it, it's better. Anyway I prefer follow your rules or coutumes so if it isn't common here I'll remove it from the article and wait if there are discussion or consensus about that, no problem. Cause then if there are the both solutions we'll need a bot to solve the conflict between template and article. V!v£ l@ Rosière /Murmeln…/ 17:51, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)
As for ébauche, I guess our template {{erweitern}} is best suited to indicate that the entry is missing vital information. It is used as follows:
{{erweitern|<what should be added>|<language>}}
If there is a French entry here in the German Wiktionary missing an example and the inflection, you put
{{erweitern|Beispiel, Flexion|Französisch}}
in the head of the french part.
Or if you want to use English
{{erweitern|example, inflection|Französisch}}
Best regards --Baisemain (Diskussion) 17:55, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)
To give the language as a parameter is optional, but it helps authors to find entries that should be completed by language. For example Kategorie:Wiktionary:Erweitern (Französisch). --Baisemain (Diskussion) 18:01, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)
Allright. Merci beaucoup ! V!v£ l@ Rosière /Murmeln…/ 18:12, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)

Auxiliary verbs for abandonnerBearbeiten

Dear Vive la Rosière,

you just added être as a second auxiliary verb to the entry abandonner. Are there senses of this verb that go with être? The French Wiktionary just gives avoir but that may be a shortcoming.

In case there are senses with être as auxiliary verb, we usually indicate which sense goes with which auxiliary verb. Best regards --Baisemain (Diskussion) 20:52, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)

Hmm, right we have lot of late on verb's complete definition. Sorry for the time took to answer but I tried to find an easy way to explain it quickly and clearly. In fact in french we have only 2 auxiliary verb : avoir and être. We use both to make compound tense (= auxiliary + past participle).
  • Stative verb : unique auxiliary is the verb être to all stative verb (verbe d'état) like devenir, agoniser, mourir, naître. They are describe a statement.
  • Action verb : the main auxiliary use is avoir. It is use to all actions verbs (verbe d'action) like manger, abroger, casser, dissoudre. But a lot of them can also be use with auxiliary être, a lot but not all.
    - In fact avoir describe the execution of the action. Exemple: J'ai mangé un lion. Tu as mangé un lion, ... etc. ==> A eat B, conclusion A do something to B
    - And être describe the fact to suffer the action. Exemple: Je suis mangé par un lion. Tu es mangé par un lion, ... etc. ==> A eat by B conclusion A suffer something from B.
So with avoir + abandonner = you abandon someone or something; and with être + abandonner = you are abandonned by someone or something. It's often the only subtle difference. The senses are the same, it's just A position switch from executor to victim of the action and reciprocally. Do you understand (I can try to make a better explanation), so what shall we do ? V!v£ l@ Rosière /Murmeln…/ 22:10, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)
I think you call it Aktiv and Passiv maybe ? V!v£ l@ Rosière /Murmeln…/ 22:27, 11. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)

répondreBearbeiten

Hi Vive la Rosière,

Someone added répondre to our Wiktionary. Could you please add the division en syllabes (Silbentrennung) and the auxiliary verb? Best regards --Yoursmile (Diskussion) 19:45, 13. Mär. 2012 (MEZ)
